Reeking corporeal shell.
An ancient evil smell.
The stench gets even stronger.
Something draws you ever yonder.
The stench gets even stronger.
Yet something draws you ever yonder
Something draws you ever yonder.
Pieces of those left before you.
Are littering the chamber.
The miasma of the corpses.
Shake you from your waking slumber.
From the pile something grabs you.
Pulling you into the carcasses.
Something alive.
Yet something dead.
Nostrils flaring at this stench your bearing.
As your insides start to retch and reel.
From within the darkness eyes are glaring.
Why are you here this can't be real.
From the pile something grabs you.
Pulling you into the carcasses.
Something alive.
Yet something dead.
Pulls you.
Screaming to your death bed.
Pulls you screaming to your death.
Something alive, yet something dead.
Pulls you screaming to your death.
Something alive, yet something dead.
Something alive, yet something...

I'm kicking my own ass for somehow missing this when it released. Expertly arranged death metal with kick drums that could demolish a high-rise. zirtonic

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
